🔒 Data & Privacy
1
How is my data stored?
All your project data is stored locally on your device only using SwiftData. Nothing is sent to any server — your data never leaves your phone.
2
How do I back up my data?
Go to Settings → Export Backup (JSON) to save a complete backup of all your projects, folders, and items to your device.
3
How do I restore from a backup?
Go to Settings → Import Backup (JSON) and select your exported JSON file. Your projects and all their data will be restored. Note: this replaces all current data.
4
I lost my data after reinstalling. Can I recover it?
Data is stored on-device only and cannot be recovered after uninstalling. Export a backup from Settings regularly, especially before switching devices.
🔑 Security
5
What is PIN lock?
You can set a 4-digit PIN in Settings → Security → Set PIN to require a PIN each time the app opens or returns from the background. To change or remove your PIN, visit the same screen.
6
How do I reset the app?
Go to Settings → Danger Zone → Wipe All Data to permanently delete all projects, folders, and items. This cannot be undone — export a backup first if needed.
📁 Projects
7
How do I create a project?
Tap the + button on the Projects tab. Give your project a name, choose an icon and color, and optionally add a description. Tap Add to save it.
8
How do I edit or delete a project?
Long-press any project card to see Edit and Delete options. You can also tap the button inside a project's detail view to edit it.
9
How do I reorder projects?
Tap the sort button (↑↓) on the Projects tab, select Manual, then tap Reorder to drag projects into any order.
🗂️ Folders & Items
10
What are folders?
Folders are categories within a project — for example Build, Enhancement, and Bug. Tap Add Folder inside any project to create one. You can give each folder its own name and icon.
11
How do I add an item?
Open a project, then tap the + button next to a folder or use the menu at the top right and choose Add Item. Set the name, folder, status, priority, due date, and notes.
12
How do I edit an item?
Tap any item to open its edit sheet. You can also long-press an item for quick actions: Edit, Duplicate, Move to Folder, Set Status, Set Priority, and Delete.
13
How do I move an item to a different folder?
Long-press the item and choose Move to Folder, then select the destination folder. You can move items between folders in the same project.
14
How do I hide or show a folder's items?
Tap the folder header to collapse or expand its items. The chevron (›) shows the current state. Your expand/collapse state resets when you leave the project.
15
How do I delete an item?
Swipe left on any item and tap Delete — a confirmation will appear before anything is removed. You can also long-press and choose Delete from the context menu.
16
What are statuses and priorities?
Each item has a Status (Todo, In Progress, Done, Blocked, Cancelled) and a Priority (Low, Medium, High, Critical). These are used to track progress and surface urgent work in the KPI tab.
📊 All Items & KPI
17
What is the All Items tab?
All Items shows every item across all your projects in one list. Filter by project, status, or priority using the filter button (top right), and search by name, project, or folder. Sort by newest, name, status, priority, or due date.
18
What does the KPI tab show?
The KPI tab is your project dashboard — total projects, total items, completion rate, status breakdown, priority breakdown (open items), per-project progress, and a deadlines section showing overdue and due-this-week items.
